The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors association, also known as ICMAD, is accepting entries for its 2017 Cosmetic Innovator Awards through June 9th. Called the CITY Awards, the program is designed to celebrate creativity and entrepreneurship in the beauty industry.

The competition is for both up-and-coming and established brands. It includes a new “Industry Contributor” category this year.

Pam Busiek, ICMAD President and CEO, says, “This year, we look forward to awarding individuals and companies in our new CITY Awards category, which honors those who exceed expectations, promote social responsibility and overcome business challenges.”

Past ICMAD City Award winners included: Hatchbeauty Products LLC, Body Breakthrough Volume Boosting Hairspray for Product Innovation: Haircare; COOLA Suncare for Product Innovation: Facial Skincare; Cover FX for Product Innovation: Color Cosmetics; and amika for Marketing/Advertising Innovation: Print Ad.
